Our Story

AK-Samol is a private legal practice led by Daniel Samol. 

Daniel spent the first five years of his career in Prague offices of American law firms resolving disputes worth billions of CZK before arbitral tribunals and Czech courts.   

After passing the bar exam in 2012, Daniel started his own legal practice in Prague Old Town. In a team of three, he provided legal services to several construction companies. With his colleagues, they drafted documents for starting businesses. This period brought AK-Samol most of its current clients, who have in the meantime grown into prosperous corporations, often leaders in their respective fields in the Czech market.  

At the beginning 2015, a large proportion of Daniel's work consisted of cooperation with a prominent Czech law firm, whilst the private practice receded into background. Daniel focused mainly on resolving complex insolvency-related situations for US-based developers and institutional investors. Moreover, he also designed cross-border transactions in terms of the tax aspects. To a lesser degree, he advised clients on financing doing business.  

From 2018, Daniel's full focus has been on building a private legal practice together with his colleagues, highly capable junior lawyers that are quickly getting to the top of the field. He continues advising entrepreneurs on real estate, financing, contracts, corporate structures, and dispute resolution.
